Prospective Areas
This map highlights areas that are unmined on Seattle Creek and Dan's Pup, which we consider prospective for placer gold production.
On upper Seattle Creek, the left limit was incompletely mined by Reno Contracting Ltd. This would be an excellent location to test and confirm the pay distribution into the hillside. Upwards of 20 ft of near surface pay gravel was identified in this area, overlying a false bedrock of well-washed gravel.
On Dan's Pup, previous mining was incomplete on the left limit and should be thoroughly prospected into the Seattle Creek valley. Upper Dan's Pup would benefit from 8" sonic drilling.
Exploration
Seattle Creek has never been properly drilled. With the availability of sonic drilling to the Yukon placer industry we recommend a detailed drill program to assist mine planning. Proposed drill fences are illustrated on the map. Priority targets would be Dan's Pup and upper Seattle Creek.
