Seattle Creek Placer Gold Mine
Your opportunity to discover
About Seattle Creek

Seattle Creek, tributary to the McQuesten River, consists of 45 placer claims in Yukon's Mayo Mining District. This road-accessible property, currently owned by Reno Contracting Ltd., has all the necessary permits, making it ready for new owners to explore. With a history of placer gold production from Seattle Creek and its tributary, Dan's Pup, the majority of the property remains untouched, offering a unique opportunity for exploration and discovery.
Discovery
Late in the 1994 season, previous owner D.C. Klippert and his family made an extraordinary discovery of coarse gold at the mouth of Dan's Pup. They cleaned up 300 oz, including a 7.25 oz nugget, in a matter of days using a basic grizzly and 12ft-long sluice box. Since then, over 2500 oz has been produced from the tributary to Seattle Creek.

Location

Seattle Creek is accessible off the all-season South McQuesten Road, north of Mayo, Yukon. The mine access road is 10 km-long and in good condition. On the property, existing mine roads and trails provide excellent exploration and development access.
